Title: Practice Manager / Director of Operations

Essential duties

  • Manage day to day operations for two experienced advisors and five-person team
  • Review all pre-meeting advisor materials and accompanying post work while ensuring timely completion
  • Monitor and ensure completion of all outstanding client related action items
  • Ensure completion of all assigned tasks to staff
  • Review and provide guidance on strategies and action plans for implementation of financial plans/annual reviews.
  • Ensure required coordination and/ or collaboration with strategic alliances, documents submitted early and followed up on in a timely manner (sufficient time to incorporate into proposed strategy).
  • Track processing of all insurance submissions
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow through on any needed correspondence with new or existing clients
  • Handle client servicing issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain a strong commitment to teamwork and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year University
  • Must currently hold series 7, 63, and 65 or 7 and 66 licenses
  • Proficiency in current Microsoft Office software applications
  • Must be a current resident of Saint Louis, MO or be willing to relocate
  • Working knowledge of Financial Planning software such as Money Guide Pro
  • Managerial experience a plus
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
  • This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:00- 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00- 4:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
